Las Vegas ho💟tel mogul Steve Wynn has yanked his Central Park South penthouse off the market — after slashing the price from a s🍎taggering $90 million to $65 million last year.
That latter price is $5 million less than what the casino cz🎐ar paid for the po💖sh pied-à-terre back in 2012.
Wynn’s residence, on the 30th and 31st floors of the Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, spans nearly 11,000 square feet. When it aimed to fetch $90 million in 2022, a sale at that price would have been the most expensive ever seen in the building, as The Pos꧒t reported that year.
Wynn’s duplex, which has three bedrooms, has views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline — and its own perks including a dining room that opens to a 28-foot-long terrace.
Despite this unit’s exit from the market, the swanky building at 50 Central Park South — whose residents include billionaire Bernard Arnault’s son Alexandre — recently got a new homeowner.
A different penthouse that was part of the estate of the late finance guru Frederick Adler, dubbed one of the fathers of venture capital before his death at age 96 in 2022, has sold for $27.9 million. That’s slightly over the $27 million that Adler initially paid for the unit back in 2007, according to property records.
The five-bedroom, 7½-bath unit was last asking $34 million, down ✨from its initial $37 million asking price.
At 9,500 square feet, the sublime spread comes⭕ with a massive 2,500ꦗ-square-foot main bedroom suite.
The residence also 🎃boasts a large great room with high ceilings and double doors that🌄 lead to a terrace with views of Central Park.
The home also features a formal dining room, a corner living room and an eat-in chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry that leads to a second terrace.
Past residents of the building include billionaires Larry Ellison, the internet mogul, and Sidney Kimmel, producer of🌊 films like “Crazy Rich Asians.”
The listing brokers for the just-sold penthouse were Erin Boisson Aries, Nic Bottero and Dustin Crouse of Douglas Elliﷺman.
