1 dead, at least 12 injured after tour bus rolls over in upstate NY: ‘Horrific incident’

One person was killed and at least 12 others wer༺e injured after a Canadian tour bus rolled over in upstate New York on Friday, according to officials.

The crash occurred just around 12:49 p.m. in the southbound lane of Interstate 87 in the popular Adirondack resort town of Lake George in Warren County🍌 — 🌄about four hours north of New York City, its destination, according to state police and local agencies.

The Skyway Coach Line tour bus was traveling🦩 from Montrea꧅l with 23 on board, including the bus driver, .

One passeng💧er w🌳as killed, another was seriously injured and 10 suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the agency said.

The majority of passengers, who were en route to catch flights in the Big Apple, were Canadian,✤ , citing Warren County spokesman Don Lehman.

One passenger was airlifted to Albany Medical Center in critical condition, po🐓lice said. At least 12 others were taken to Glens Falls Hospital with minor injuries, a ꦫhospital spokesman said.

Lake George Central School district confirmed to Th🃏e Post that it deployed a bus to the crash site that brought injured passengers to the firehouse in Lake George.

Theဣ southbound lanes of I-87 remai🅘n closed between Exits 23 and 22, state police said Friday evening.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said her office had been made aware of the crash and♔ that Department of Transportation workers were at the scene.
