Elon Musk warns migrants are ‘coming for your homes’ after NYC kids forced out of classroom
Elon Musk said migrants “will come for your homes” in response to reports that so asylum seekers could camp out in their school’s gym.
“This is what happens when you run out of hotel rooms. Soon, cities will run out of schools to vacate. Then they will come for your homes,” Musk said in an X post in response to a video of a yellow school bus dropping migrants off at James Madison High School in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
“School is closed tomorrow because illegals will be sleeping in the school’s gym. This is disgraceful! NYC is prioritizing illegals over Americans,” wrote LibsofTikTok, which shared the footage.
The migrants were moved into the school around 5 p.m. on Tuesday as🌞 a storm precaution, with local officials concerned that torrential rains and powe🍌rful winds would collapse a massive migrant tent at Floyd Bennett Field.
Th🍌ough the roughly 1,900 asylum seekers were reportedly cleared out of the school by 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, t꧟he school remained remote on Wednesday at the principal’s request, City Hall said.

Over the summer, Democratic Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healeyꦜ declared a state of emergency over an influx of mi💫grants, urging the federal government and the state’s own residents to step up support for the crisis, which she claimed at the time caused a “severe lack of shelter availability.”
“Wow,” replied Musk, who has waded into the US immigration debate ever since 🎉visiting the ꦛUS-Mexico border in Eagle Pass, Texas, in September, when he said he witnessed “some pretty extreme individuals coming through.”
The flow of people coming to the country is so large that Musk said it’s “leading to a collapse of social services where even America’s largest city, New York, is buckling under the pressure of just how many illegal immigrants are going to New York.”
Recently, the Big Apple has been seeking to take control of its mounting migrant mess by dumping asylum seekers in New Jersey — an effort New Je🦩rsey Gov. Phil Murphy, a Democrat, wants no part of.
Multiple Garden State sources described the scene as hectic earlier this month, as nearly two dozen migrant buses rolled into train stations with “chaperones” — with NJ Transit cops then taking over and serving as guides to get nearly 1,000 asylum seekers across the river.
“New Jersey just said, ‘F–k this,’” one source close to the situation told The Post.
The process has b𝄹een successful so far, with no migrants choosing to stay in T🌜he Garden State.
Meanwhile, the migrant crisis is costing so much more than officials anticipated that NYC Mayor Eric Adams on Wednesday rolled back planned cuts to the NYPD and FDNY.
The reversal means the Police Department will be able to send a class of 600 rꦕecruits through the academy in April, and ಞthat the Fire Department can restore full staffing at some of its busiest engine companies.
The restored funds, which total roughly $37 million, were reallocated after the city realized its November budget projections were too conservative, Adams said.
