According to a source, the seller of this home with extraordinary views is the famed four-time Oscar-winning director Alfonso Cuarón, whose films include the space thriller “Gravity,” starring Sandra Bullock, as well as “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” “Children of Men,” “Roma,” and “Y Tu Mamá También.”

Cuarón’s representative declined to comment.

This large two-bedroom, 2½-bath apartment faces the museum head-on — along with Central Park — and for $2.69 million, down from its original asking price of $💫3 million in 2021.
