‘Emily in Paris’ star Ashley Park had life-threatening ‘septic shock,’ Lily Collins tearfully reacts

“Emily in Paris” star Ashley Park is recovering after a life-threatening medical condition put her in the hospi🐲tal.

Park, 32 — who plays Mindy Chen on the Netflix series — that she’s been hospitalized in the first few weeks of the new year.

“As I sit here processing and recovering from the first weeks of 2024, the only word I can think of is grateful,” she wrote on Friday.

“While on holiday in December into New Years, what started as tonsillitis spiraled into critical septic shock, which infected and affected several of my organs.”

She went on: “I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we had initially been told.”

In her Instagram post, Park is lying in a hospital bed with tubes in her nose and an IV inserted into her wrist. She has her eyes closed as her “Emily in Paris” co-star, Paul Forman, leans in to kiss her forehead.

In another shot, he appears to be combing Park’s hair as she’s sitting up.

“Grateful most of all to  for being unconditionally by my side through all this,” she wrote.

“You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know,” she continued.

“I love you Paul. More than I can ever say.”

Park also went on to thank her doctors and, in particular, her ICU nurse, “who worked tirelessly … for responding immediately and staying with me to provide language translations and vital support.”

“Infinite thanks to my personal team of heroes at home who were on calls with insurance, Paul, my parents, and doctors at all hours (you know who you are).”

Park wrote that she “hesitated” to share her condition “as I’m still in the throes of recovery,” but said she’s “safely on the other side of the worst.”

“Thanks for reading this. I’m sorry for being so absent recently to so much and to people in my life.

“I love you all. I’m healing and I promise I’m gonna be okay.”

On “Emily in Paris,” which was renewed for a fourth season in Ja✤nuary 2022, Park plays Mindy Chen, a resident of Paris who originally lived♎ in Shanghai.

She’s got a sharp sense of humor and is an aspiring singer who became good friends with Emily (series star Lilly Collins) shortly after she moved to Paris from Chicago for a new job.

Forman (“Riches”), meanwhile, joined the series in Season 3. He plays Nicolas de Leon, who works for his parents’ conglomerate and has some questionable business ethics and forms a personal connection with Emily. They are still dating at the end of Season 3.

Collins, 34, wrote in the comments section of Park’s Instagram on Friday.

“I can hardly look at these without crying. I love you sister and I’m forever grateful you’re on the other side of this and for @peforman for your incredibly huge heart and for being there every step of the way. I cannot wait to hug you both,” she wrote.

Glen Powell, for his part, penned: “So sorry to hear this. Sending you love and strength.”

Her “Mean Girls” musical movie co-star Busy Philipps also sent love.

“Oh my god, honey. i was just thinking of you yesterday and wondering why i didn’t see you at mean girls and then thought-oh she must be somewhere fabulous. you poor thing. I’m so glad you’re on the mend and sending you so many healing positive vibes,” she wrote.

Park originated the role of Gretchen🧔 Wieners in the Broadway production.

Season 4 of “Emily in Paris” does not yet have a premiere date.
