Playboy, Maxim model Masuimi Max found dead at 45
Playboy and Maxim model and actress Masuimi Max was found dead in her Las Vegas-area home on Thursday. She was 45.
Emergency first responders arrived on the scene after cops received a call just before 11:30 AM ET this morning, .
At this time no foul play is suspected, although a thorough investigation will be conducted.
No other details have been released at the moment.
Tributes have already began to pour in as friends, family and friends have been left to mourn.
“I’m so grateful we reconnected thank you for mentoring me when I first started out in this industry and giving me opportunities I cannot believe this is real,” Max’s friend Ashleeta Beauchamp wrote in tribute on her .
“Rest in paradise lovely!,” another fan wrote. “I always thought you were such a rock star. I’m so saddened to hear of your passing. You will be missed.”
“I will love you 4 ever my dark fetish pin up queen,” fellow model Marilyn Barrios added.
The Post has reached out to Max’s reps for comment.
Masuimi started her career back as a model back in 2000 and rose to success quickly, booking jobs in numerous publications such as Playboy, Maxim, Alt and Bizarre magazines.
As an actress, Max appeared in the Lee Tamahori-directed 2005 action film “XXX: State of the Union” opposite Samuel L. Jackson, Ice Cube, XZibit, Scott Speedman and Willem Dafoe in an uncredited role.
She also had bit parts in “Cornman: American Vegetable Hero” and “Giantess Battle Attack.”

It is not yet known if the event will proceed in the wake of Max’s death.
