Newlyweds adopt loudmouth stray kitten whose meows interrupted their wedding vows

The cat distrubtion system was working overtime♓ for this one!ꦓ

Speak meow or forever hold your peace.

A bride and groom’s marriage ceremony was interrupted by a loud wedding crasher — a small kitten who began meowing from a wooded area behind the couple as they read their vows.

As the groom was reading his personally written vows to his teary-eyed soon-to-be wife, faint meows could be heard coming from behind their wedding arch, a clip of🥂 the outdoor ceremony shows.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen standing next to the coupl꧙e turn and look behind them while trying to stifle laughs.

“The two of us had no clue. All we noticed was everyone laughing during our vows so I was kind of annoyed,” the bride named Cara wrote in text over the clip.

Confused, she then turns to her bridesmaids and asks them what is happening. One of them calmly replies, “There’s a cat meowing” which erupts laughter from the wedding guests.

“I have to stop this because of the cat,” the groom, Matt, turns to the guests and says, according to the video.

The stray kitten then peeks out of her🎐 hiding spot, and the bridal party points her out to the couple followed by cheers and applause from the guests.

“There she was sitting on a tree stump right behind us demanding to be heard,” Cara said of the tiny gray kitten.

The newlyweds felt like the little feline wedding crꦗasher was a sign.

“We are huge cat people,” the bride said. “Our names [Cara and Matt] together are Catt. We even had cat cake toppers. So this was kind of crazy.”

Once ♒the tiny tabby got the attention she sought, she quieted down for the remainder of the ceremony.

Staff and guests at the wedding venue looked for the loudmouth kitten after the ceremony and the next day but couldn’t find her.

Staffers then started baiting the feline with shrimp leftover from different weddings and events at the venue over the next couple🗹 of weeks until they were finally able to catch ꦬher.

They brought her to a shelter for me💜dical attention and shots before a vet cleared the kittꦕen for adoption.

The newlyweds “knew we had to have her” and brought her home, where she became the young sister to a cat brother named Gatsby, Cara said in the video text.

They named their furry wedding crasher Daisy.

“She has been the perfect addition,” Cara said.

“She was a wedding gift from the cat distribution system,” a TikTok user commented on the video.
