Police probe grisly mystery after human fetus washes ashore in Miami Beach
A Florida beachgoer made the shocking discovery of a human fetus that had washed ashore — in what police called a “very unique case” that sparked a death probe.
Miami Beach police responded Tuesday afternoon after the person spotted the remains of the unborn infant and notified Miami Beac🦄h Ocean Rescue, .
The medical examiner later removed the fetus to conduct an a🐲utopsy.
“Due to the element🍌s, the location as to which it was discovered, there are a lot of unknowns at this point,” police spokesperson Officer Christopher Bess told the outlet.
“Therefore, a medical assessment will better guide u༒s as to how old the f🐼etus was, but based off of our observations, it does appear to be a fetus,” he said.
“It does not appear to have been birth but again, t🃏hese are all s🃏peculation at this time,” Bess said.

P🥂olice said there are many unknowns, including who the mother is.
“We don’t know what the mother’s part — if she played a part in this. We don’t know if this was a possible miscarriage,” Bess told WSVN.
Beachgoers said they were al🐟arm♋ed by the discovery.
“I think it’s horrible, it’s horrifying,” one person told the outlet, declining to be named.
“Yes, it’s shocking. I can’t believe it,” added another, 🐲who also wished to remain unidentified.
