celebrated the opening of its renovated downtown digs and the launch of Sabato De Sarnoās new Ancora collection with a bella festa attended by half of Hollywood.
The house welcomed Jessica Chastain, Elliot Page, Jodie Turner-Smith, Iris and Maude Apatow, Beanie Feldstein, Natasha Lyonne, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Kingsley Ben-Adir and more to its sleek 63 Wooster St. store in Soho. Guests enjoyed champagšne and cocktails, Milan-level bites and a performance by Romy Madley Croft, the DJ and musician whose hit āLoveherā scored De Sarnoās Ancora ršunway debut in September.
Guests were given a Gucci Ancora manifesto poster and a vinyl copy of “Mid Air,” Madley Croftās album from an airstream wrapped in Gucci Ancora Rosso, a dark red from the collection. In the days leading up to the bash, the vehicle motored around New York distributing warm beverages, flowers and Gucci Ancora postcards to fans.
The art-filled boutique is situated in a 155-year-old landmark building that spans an entire city block. A former pencišl factory, its contemporary interiors are furnished with iconic Italian furniture by Cassina, B&B, and Minotti.
The store carries womenās and menās ready-to-wear and shoes, jewelry, accessories, and the signature Gucci Vališgeria luxury luggage lines. The new spring collection featź§ures limited-edition pieces including an acid green version of the Jackie Notte bag.
Gucci Wooster Bookstore, curated by Dashwood Books, was also renovated and has its own entrance at 375 West Broadway. The bš„ookstore will showcase āGucci Prospettive 1: Milano Ancora,ā the first volume in a series conveying De Sarnoās artistic vision.
