Game on.
Tuesday’s St. John’s-Providence game in Rhode Island, once uncertain to be played as scheduled due to a winter storm, is a go.
The Johnnies left Monday afternoon, and at the time, it was believed the contest could be moved to Wedn❀esday due to a travel ban.
But the forecast improved, allowi🌠ng the Big East battle to tip off Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Providence did cancel classes on Tuesday, but that di𒉰dn’t alter the game’s status.
This is a crucial point of the season for struggling St. John’s, which has lost six of its la🧸st eight games and is cur🎐rently projected by most Bracketologists to be outside the March Madness bracket picture.
St. John’s is 2-7 in Quad 1 games but would get a third Quad 1 win if it defeats Providence Tuesday.
The Johnnies won tꦬhe first matchup between the two teams, 75-73, on Jan. 10 at the Gard🌳en.
