Kirk Cousins next team odds: Falcons emerging as threat to Vikings

Kirk Cousins will be perhaps the biggest quarterback on the NFL free-agent market this offseason but don’t expect him to go🐠 anywhere.

Oddsmakers are anticipating a Cousins-Vikings reunion 🥃despite the veteran quarterback’s contract status being up in the air for 2024 and beyond.

Minnesota is a heavy -200 favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook to be the team Cousins ta꧙kes his first snaps for next season, although a number of teams are looming as potential fits if an unlikely break-up occurs.

Cousins and the Vikings are in a bit of a unique situation after Cousins he a season-ending Achilles tear during Week 8 last season, potentially bringing his six-year tenure in Minnesota to an end.&♊nbsp;

When healthy last season, Cousins threw for 2,331 yards, 18 touchdowns, and just fi👍ve interceptions and even played himself into the fr💛inges of early NFL MVP conversations.

The Vikings gave a handful of starts to Joshua Dobbs and Nick Mullens in 🏅Cousins’ absence last season, but aren’t expected to head i𝓀nto 2024 with either behind center after disappointing results from the pair.

Should Cousins depart, the Atlanta Falcons (+300) are the clear favorites to bri꧂ng the four-time Pro Bowler in.

The Falcons are widely expected to bring in a quarterback from outside the organization this offseason and are already highly in the mix for Justin Fields and Russell Wilson

The New Engl🤪and Patriots (+900), who🌃 are also likely to make an addition at quarterback, are the only other team with odds better than 10/1.

In a vacuum, Cousins, who will be 36 at the start of next season, would be an upgrade for arguably at least half of the teams in the NFL.&nbs🦂p;

But when you take into account his age, Achilles injury, and potential high price tag, it’s ha꧅rd to see Cousins finding a better fit than the one he’s called home ✃for the last six seasons.
