Brett Baty, who is battling Mark Vientos for the Mets’ third-base job, drilled a Roddery Muñoz slider 383 fe🗹et to right for his first home run of the spring in his fi🎐fth game.
“Felt✤ really good,” Baty said. “Whenever you get one on the barrel like that, honestly it’s hard to explain, but it just feels li꧙ke nothing.”
Sean wrong
Sean Manaea allowed three runs — al📖l in his first frame — on seven hits in 2 ²/₃ innings.
The lefty, who led with the fastba😼ll and worked in changeups, sliders and sweepers, said he was working on everything and not concerned.
“The results are what they are,” Manaea ཧsaid, “but there’s also some positives.”
