Parents turned in 2 boy bank robbers dubbed ‘little rascals’ to police: cops
Two of the three suspected Texas boy bank robbers dubbed “little rascals” have been turned over to the cops by their own parents — while the third was arrested after a fight, authorities said.
The FBI confirmed Tuesday that the trio of youngsters, ages 𝓰11, 12 and 16, were in🧸 custody on charges of robbery by threat.
Their arrests came after the feds relওeased s💝urveillance photos from the Wells Fargo bank heist in Houston.
Parents of two of the boys so💎on came forward and identified🐻 the suspects as their sons, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The third “rascal” was nabbed after allegedly being involved in a fight and getting recognized by a law enforcement officer,
Investigators later seized a ♓weapon and an unspecified distinctive item seen in one of the surveillance images.
The three alleged troublemakers firs💃t made headlines last Thursday, when FBI Houston posted on X that they were wanted for a bank robbery.
The boys passed a threatening note to a Wells Fargo teller and were b🥂elieved to be armed, although they did noꦚt display a weapon, according to law enforcement.
The baby-faced threesome was sa﷽id to have gotten away with an undisclos🔴ed amount of cash.
An eyewitness initially told cops the suspects appeared to be between 14 and 18 years old — but they turned out to be even younger.
In announcing their arrests, the FBI said because the boys are ✨minors, their names and additional details will not be disclosed.
The 𓆏Post reached out to the local sheriff𒅌’s office Wednesday seeking comment on the case.
