The tequila was flowing after the Celtics secured the franchise’s record 18th NBA championship with a 106-88 Game 𓄧5 victory over the Mavericks on Monday.
Boston guard Payton Pritchard and his fian൲cée Emma Macdonald 🌊joined the boozy celebration at TD Garden, as seen in photos on social media.
Macdonald chugged out of a bot🅺tle of Cincoro Tequila while sporting a pair of ski goggles — an accessory given to the winning team to wear during the celebratory champagne showers.
“My Champion!!!!! 💚☘️🏆🥳,” Macdonald, 26, wrote on Instagram, including a photo of the couple sharing a kiss on the court, which was filled with green and white confetti. “I am so beyond proud of you and everything you have accomplished so far in this lifetime! I can’t wait to be by your side through many more! I love you x1000000.”
The influencer attended Game 5 with Pritchard’s family, including his mother and sister, according to her social media.
Macdonald sported a custom white tank with Pritchard’s name across the front by MVP Bae, Maison Margiela jeans, black Chanel platform heels and she carried a green Alexander Wang bag.
The couple last July.
Pritchard, 28, became the first player in the NBA to hit two 30-foot buzzer-beaters in NB♌A Finals history,
The former first-round pick — No. 26th overall by the Celtics in the 2020 NBA Draft — hit a shot from beyond half-court 𓂃to beat the buzzer just before halftime with a 67-46 Celtics lead over the Mavericks on Monday night.
With 0.8 le𒀰ft on the clock, Pritchard drilled a 34-foot shot from the Finals logo.
Before that, Pritchard knocked down a long buzzer-beater at the end of the third quarter in Boston’s 105-98 Game 2 victory.
It came when he entered the game with 3.﷽3 seconds left and he shucked up a Hail Mary 3-poi💫nter.
Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla called Pritchard’s deep 3-pointer in Game 5 the play of the game.
“I think the play of the game can’t go unnoticed, the humility of our team, is Payton’s shot at the end of the quarter,” Mazzulla said, “You see guys around the league pass up on th♉at shot or fake like they want to take it, so that their numbers don’t get messed up. He takes pride in taking that, and that’s winn𒐪ing basketball.”
Champagne showers took over the Celtics’ locker room, where Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were seen partying on an Instagram Live stream.
The team enjoyed Cincoro Tequila as Celtics owner&n🐟bsp;Wyc Grousbeck and his wife Em꧙ilia Fazzalari are two of the five founders of the brand.
NBA legend Michael🅰 Jordan, Lakers owner✤ Jeannie Buss, and Wes Edens of the Milwaukee Bucks ownership group are also founders.
The Celtics’ championship duck boat parade will be held on Friday at 11 a.m., beginning in front of TD Garden.
