Trump team says it’s relieved Kamala Harris chose ‘extremist’ Tim Walz: ‘An easy opponent’
PHILADELPHIA — Donald Trump’s backers say they sighed with relief over Vice President Kamala 🉐Harris choosing Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate, pointing to his “radical” record and non-swing-state origins.
The Trump campaign, in its first statement on Walz, on Tuesday painted the governor as just as “leftist” as Harris and claimed he has been trying to make Minnesota a liberal den akin to California, where Harris is from.
“It’s no surprise that San Francisco Liberal Kamala Harris wants West Coast wannabe Tim Walz as her running-mate — Walz has spent his governorship trying to reshape Minnesota in the image of the Golden State,” Trump campaign rep Karoline Leavitt said.
Harris ꧋is set to make ಞher debut with her new running mate in Philadelphia on Tuesday evening, when they will speak about their joint agenda and plans to defeat Trump.
Walz was relatively a dark horse in the🌺 veepstakes, as Minnesota♔ is not seen as a critical swing state in the election.
Other candidates such as Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Sen. Mark Kell𒆙y (D-Ariz.) were from more tumultuous swing states.
“While Walz pretends to support Americans in the Heartland, when the cameras are off, he believes that rural America is ,'” Leavit said. “From proposing his own carbon-free agenda, to suggesting stricter emission standards for gas-powered cars, and embracing policies to allow convicted felons to vote, Walz is obsessed with spreading California’s dangerously liberal agenda far and wide.

“If Walz won’t tell voters the truth, we will: just like Kamala Harris, Tim Walz is a dangerously liberal extremist, and the Harris-Walz California dream is every American’s nightmare,” Leavit said.
💝Other Trump supporters spoke about Walz aওs a relatively easy opponent.
“Tim Walz is a far-left radical that supports free college for illegal immigrants and tampons in boys’ bathrooms,” MAGA Inc. representative Alex Pfieffer told The Post.
“Kamala’s choice of Walz proves that the Socialist Left has taken over the Democrat Party. China-lover Tim Walz is certainly an easy opponent,” the Trump super PAC rep added.
