2024 Heisman Trophy: Week 6 leaders

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe

Mi꧃lroe is the current odds-on favorite to win the Heisman, priced at +200 on FanDuel. On a national stage in prime time, he completed 27-of-33 passes for 374 yards and two touchdowns against Georgia, adding 16 rushing attempts for 117 yards and two scores.

It was the best performance of his career in a pivotal moment for the Crimson Tide, and Ala𝓡bama is now the betting favorite to win the SEC.

Miami quarterback Cameron Ward

Ward was the favorite heading into Week 5, but he ♑dropped below Milroe. The Canes barely survived a last-gasp effort from Virginia Tech on Friday night, winning 38-34.

He threw two interceptions in the game that helped 🔜the Hokies keep it close, but he also finished witౠh 343 passing yards and four touchdowns, adding 10 rushing attempts for 57 yards and a score.

Miami’s easy schedule could become problematic as he will struggle to find true Heisman moments in prime-time games. However, if Miami goes undefeated and wins the ACC, it will be difficult to deny his candidacy.

Colorado wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter

Hunter has skyrocketed up the odds board, currently priced at +🌃600 on FanDuel. The two-way playerౠ has no shortage of Heisman moments on both sides of the ball already this season.

The Buffaloes earned a massive road upset over Central Florida on Saturday, and they look poised to make a real postseason push in their first season in the Big 12., which should help Hunter’s candidacy.

He has 46 catches for 561 yards and six touchdowns this season. He’s made some clutch plays on defense, including a game-clinching fꦿor෴ced fumble on the goal line against Baylor in Week 4.

Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty

Jeanty is also climbing up✅ the odds board, going from +3300 last week to his current price of +1200.

He has a seemingly impossible 845 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns through four games, while averaging an absurd 10.3 yards per carry. The Broncos are🍌 also 3-1, and they look poised to make a push for the 🎃Group of Five spot in the College Football Playoff.

2024 Heisman Trophy: Value pick

Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart

The Rebels suffered an untimely home upset loss to Kentucky on Saturday, but it’s difficult to ignore Dart’s impressive numbers this season.

He has thrown for 1,815 yards and 13 touchdowns with just two interceptions. That includes nine touchdowns to just one interception on🌼 passes 20-plus yards downfield, acꦏcording to Pro Football Focus.

The Rebels will need to be nearly perfect throughout the remainder of the season for Dart to have a chance, and that will be tough wit♔h a road game against LSU and a home game against Georgia on the horizon.

However, Dart still leads the country in passing yards and should have pr⭕olific numbers by the end ꦛof the season.

Thiꦿs is still a quarterback-driven award, and in an offense full of dynamic🦩 weapons, he’ll have every opportunity to compete for the award with elite numbers.
