EAGLES (-9) over Browns

There’s that scene in “Arrested Development” in which Tobias discusses how people delude themselves into believing something might work when it obviously won’t … but “it might work for us.”

Well, call me delusion🐬al because this might just work for us. I’m here backing another big 🙈favorite.

Yes, I know. The big 💟favorites have stunk. It’s the year of the d♉ogs. You’re not wrong.

But have you watched 🌱Deshaun Watson play football t𝓰his year?

You’ve seen bღetter QB plꦍay from losing teams in movies.

The Browns are a disgrace with Watson under center, and the Eagle🍌s, fresh off their bye, should be motivated to 💝get an easy stretch started with a blowout.

The once-vaunted Browns defense aಞlso is rather leaky this season, coming off a 34-point gashing against the Commanders last time out.

With the Eagles also set to welcome back♛ A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith from injuri༺es, Philadelphia should fly high.

Lions (-3) over COWBOYS

Dallas got a nice, last-minute win las🎃t weekend against the Steelers, but it isn’t equipped to deal with a physical Lions team coming off a bye week.

Detroit ranks sixth in rushing yards per game, and the Cowboys rank 24th, allowing 13💃5 rushing yards per game.

Dallas’ defense is also down💙 two huge defenders in Micah Parsons and DeMarcus La🦂wrence.

Betting on the NFL?

The Cowboys’ offense is also inconsistent, and Dak Prescott apparentl🐲y forgets CeeDee Lamb exists in the second half of games.

We’re co☂mf🎀ortable backing the Lions to win this game by at least a field goal as Dallas attempts to stay afloat with Parsons rushing the passer.

AT&T Stadium also has been no 🐬haven for the Cowboys this year, with Dallas allow✃ing 72 points (36 per game) and failing to cover the spread in both games.

Last week: 1-1. Packers (W), Saints (L)
Season: 3-7.
