Noah Lyles reveals engagement to fellow Olympian Junelle Bromfield after Paris Games

From Olympic medals to wedding rings.

American sprinter Noah Lyles announced his engagement to fellow Olympian Junelle Bromfield on Sunday, sharing a video from Saturday’s dreamy proposal on social media.

Captioning the clip, “To My Future Wife I Will Love You Forever,” Lyles — a two-time Olympian who won two medals at this summer’s Paris Games — is seen on one knee in front of Bromfield and a heart-shaped floral display with the accompanying message, “Will you marry me?”

Bromfield, 💖who hails from Jamaica and is a track and field star, kissed Lyles after accepting his proposal before showing off her engagement ring.

“ENGAGED,” she exclaimed in a separate video while celebrating with loved ones.

Lyles, 27, and Bromfield, 26, have been together since 2022 following ꧃som✃e years of back-and-forth communication.

The couple’s engagement comes months after the pair competed at the 2024 Paris Games.

Lyles won gold in the men’s 100-meter and bronze in the men’s 200-meter but his Olympic run was cut short due to COVID-19.

Bromfield, who captured bronze in the women’s 4×400-meter at the Tokyo Games in 2021, did not medal in Paris.

Lyles publicly supported Bromfield during the Games, calling her a “survivor” as she combated “the pure disrespect and hatred towards her from her own country.”

“This woman has been attacked by people who have never met her, heard her name before, never seen her smile, or heard what she believes in. But she keeps moving forward knowing that God will always make a way. Thats why God keeps blessing her!” in August.

Although Lyles didn’t elaborate on the alleged backlash, comments made on the “Track World News” podcast suggested the sprinter was aware of certain intel, .

Bromfield acknowledged Lyles’ message and replied, “Thank you baby For always supporting long before we even started dating.”
