Kamala Harris to sit down for Fox News interview with Bret Baier – just three weeks ahead of Election Day
Vice President Kamala Harris will be interviewed on Fox News this week, breaking the Democratic nominee’s streak of only speaking to liberal-leaning or local outlets.
The interview with “Special Report” host and chief political anchor Bret Baier will be recorded Wednesday afternoon and air on the 6 p.m. broadcast that evening.

Baier, 54, will interview Harris, 59, in Pennsylvania, widely considered the crucial state in the veep’s contest with former President Donald Trump.
Wednesday will mark the first time a Democratic presidential nominee has sat for an interview with the cable news behemoth since July 2016, when Hillary Clinton was grilled by then-“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace.
President Biden has never done a one-on-one interview wi🐼th the🔥 network, either as a candidate or as commander in chief.
The interview is part of a late media blitz by Harris with three week💙s to go before election day.
The vice president started her campaign off by avoiding the press for weeks, refusing to sit down for an interview until over a month after becoming the party’s nominee.
Last week, however, Harris began to put herself out there, with appearances on the sex-focused podcast “Call Her Daddy,” as well as ABC News’ “The View,” “The Howard Stern Show,” and CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

The Trump campaign has criticized Harris for being unwilling to go on networks that don’t feed her softball questions.
The 45th pre💎sident had been pushing Harris to do an early September deb🐬ate on Fox News, but she declined, instead asking for a second October debate on CNN.
Also on Wednesday, Fox News will host a town hall with Trum﷽🐻p speaking exclusively to female voters. That event will air at 11 a.m.
