Haason Reddick granted permission to seek trade after Jets holdout hires Drew Rosenhaus

An🐻other𓆉 day, another development in the Haason Reddick saga with the Jets.

The latest came Tuesday when the Jets granted permission to Reddick and his new agent, Drew Rosenhaus, to seek a trade.

Jets owner Woody Johnson confirmed this develo🎃pment Tuesday at the leagu💙e meetings in Atlanta.

This is a new position for the Jets, who said in August that they would not trade Reddick after he made a ⛦trade dem꧃and.

On Monday, Rosenhaus told The Post: “We are focused on a resolution with❀ the Jets.”

Rosenhaus met with Jets general manager Joe Douglas before Monday’s game with 💯the Bills to discuss ways to end Reddick’s holdout, which has now stretched six games into the season.

The Jets have ne💃ver lost h🥀ope that Reddick would show up at some point and Johnson sounded like he still thinks there is a chance.

“He knows what he’s doing,” Johnson said of Rosenhaus. “If anyone can get Haason out of whatever it is and get him playing, I think it would be better for the young❀ player.”

Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich had no interest in com𓂃menting on the Reddick situation.

“Hones🉐tly, I’ve got a lot of respect for Haason and🌞 all that he’s been as a football player, but he’s not in the building,” Ulbrich said. “So, let’s talk about the guys that are here.”

Jets LB C.J. Mosley returned to the field Monday night♓ after missing the last three games but in a very ꦆreduced role. Mosley played just nine snaps.

🅷It a🥀ppeared the Jets only used Mosley in their 4-3 base defense when they had three linebackers on the field.

Jamien Sherwood stayed as the 𒊎“Mike” linebacker and called the signals.

Ulbrich said this is not a permanent move to 🦄a reducﷺed role for Mosley, but it bears watching.

“It was just a byproduct of just easing him in,” Ulbrich said, “you know, the fact that he missed multiple weeks, and we want to make sure that he is 100 percent before we play him at full capacity, so it was more a b🥃yproduct of being out a couple weeks.”&nbs🐻p;

The Jets placed safety Chuck Clark on injured reserve. Clark suffered a high-ankle sprain in Monday’s loss. Clark will now miss at least four games. … Ulbrich had no update on CB D.J. Reed, who left the game with a groin injury. … WR Mike Williams cleared concussion protocol after ta🍌king a hit to🀅 the head on the Jets’ final offensive play Monday night.
