Mandy Moore and her kids evacuate LA home as destructive wildfire spreads: ‘Don’t know if our place made it’
Mandy Moore confirmed she’s “safe” from the Pacific Palisades wildfire.
The “This Is Us” star, 40, was among the tens of thousands of Los Angeles residents who were forced to evacuate their homes on Tuesday as the destructive blaze continues to wreak havoc on the area of Southern California.
“Evacuated and safe with kids, dog and cats,” Moore wrote on her Instagram Stories.
“Praying and grateful for the first responders,” she added.
Moore shared another statement on her IG Stories Wednesday alongsid𒁃e a photo of her with one of her sons.
“Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night. Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel,” she wrote “Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don’t know if our place made it.”
Moore shares ꦜ, sons August, 3, and Oscar, 2, 🗹and daughter Louise, 3 months, with husband Taylor Goldsmith.
The “Candy” singer and her family seemingly still live in the Pasadena home that she announced they were selling in July 2024.
“It’s the end of an era,” Moore as she announced the sale of the 3,551-square-foot🌊 home.
“Today, our home that we lovingly restored from the studs, is available for its next chapter and owner,” she continued. “It’s bittersweet as @taylordawesgoldsmith and I got engaged, married and brought home 2 babies here but I’m thrilled to see who she goes to next.”
“It’s SUCH a special space,” Moore added about the midcentury house, and gave a shout-out to the designers, landscapers and builders who helped her “make our dream home a reality.”
The California residence la🐽nded on the market for $6 million in July. Moore and Goldsmith bought it for $2.6 million in 2017, according to .
Moore joins Eugene Levy, Mark Hamill and James Woods on the growing list of celebrities who have evacuated their homes due to 🎐the wildfire, which started in Pacific Palisades around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Woods’ neighbor lost their home, after he fled.
Reality TV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidiꦉ Montag lost their Pacific Palisades home in the ♛massive blaze, according to TMZ, just hours after Pratt shared a on the nearby flames on Instagram.
Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, and Miles Tiller and Keleigh Sperry also have homes🀅 in Pacific Palisa𝓀des.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency after touching down in the Pacific Palisades area and meeting with first responders fighting the blaze that has so far to🔴rche🍒d more than 3,000 acres, according to CalFire.

Presid♎ent Biden urged Pacific Palisades residents to remain “vigilant” and said he’s offered federal assistance to help Cali🔯fornia authorities battle the blaze.
“Earlier tonight, FEMA approved a🍒 Fire Management Assistance Grant to support areas that are impacted and help reimburse the state of California for the immediate firefighting costs. My Administration wi🌌ll do everything it can to support the response,” Biden said in a statement.
