Nic Claxton was suspended for one game without pay as a result of picking up his sixth flagrant foul point of the regular season, the latest one coming in Monday’s loss to the Wizards.
The center will se𓂃rve the ban Wednesday, when the Nets face Oklahoma City at Barclays Center.
Claxton, 25, is averaging 10.1 points per game for the Nets, but more importantly, he has been a standout on defense, which has helpe🧸d spark better play by a team that has lost most of its key assets, either in trades or in buyouts.

Without Claxton, the Nets will likely rely more on Day✤’Ron Sharpe.
