Kevin Knox didn’t want to go to the G-League.
He’d spent time in the NBA with the Pistons at the start of last season before getting traded to the Jazz in February and waived the next day.
His career — which started with the Knicks, as the No. 9 pick in 2018, then spiraled from there — had stalled, and now, after bouncing around in the middle of a season, there was no clear path back.
So he joined the Rip City Remix for the rest of the campaign.
