Feds seek records tied to ousted ‘Dolton Dictator’ Tiffany Henyard’s boyfriend

The feds are seeking records from “Dolton Dictator” Tiffany Henyard’s boyfriend and others over a development project in the Illinois town — as authorities continue to separately probe the newly ousted “super mayor” for alleged money mismanagement.

The Village of Dolton was hit with the federal subpoena on Feb. 25 — the same day Henyard suffered her landslide mayoral primary election loss — over land allegedly once owned by the now-former mayor’s boyfriend, .

The summons demands documents dating back to 2014, including citations, code violations and all communications between property owners, tenants and village personnel tied to the project.

Henyard’s partner, Kamal Woods — who reportedly once owned the land tied to the development — is among those listed in the subpoena.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Henyard was linked to the project.

Still, the summons was issued as federal authorities continue to investigate Henyard’s activities from her time as village mayor.

The 41-year-old, who was first elected mayor in 2021, has faced accusations of overseeing off-the-rails spending during her tumultuous mayoral term, including claims she misappropriated taxpayer money to cover personal expenses like a police security detail and lavish travel.

Henyard was hit with two separate subpoenas last year — one that focused on her and her private work and another that revolved around the township.

In the first, the feds sought personnel files, wage and tax documents, time and attendance records, contracts and checks written to “cash” from Henyard’s multiple endeavors — including a restaurant, a property management company, her political action committee and a charity in her name.

The second summons demanded a trove of township financial documents, such as budgets, payroll records, and ordinances covering credit card purchases, expense reports and reimbursements, security details and use of vehicles.

It came after the Dolton village board voted to hire former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who also served as a federal prosecutor, to oversee a probe into Henyard’s spending and invited the FBI to open its own investigation.
