Andrew Tate’s ex-girlfriend Bri Stern reveals horrifying threats he made as she sues him for alleged violent abuse: ‘You are my property’

Andrew Tate’s ex-girlfriend Bri Stern said the self-described misogynist repeatedly threatened to rape and kill her — as she filed a lawsuit against him for allegedly strangling her during sex.

Stern described horrifying details of her relationship with Tate, 38, in an extensive Instagram post Thursday.

“He has told me on many occasions before that if I crossed him, he would ruin my life, rape me, or kill me,” Stern wrote. “Andrew texted me recently and let me know ‘if you ever betray me, you will regret it.’”

Andrew Tate and Bri Stern took a selfie together the day before the alleged attack.
Bri Stern says she was diagnosed as post-concussive by doctors after the attack.

Stern — who met Tate in the summer of 2024 — accused him this week of strangling her until she was nearly unconscious in a Beverly Hills hotel room two weeks ago.

She reported the attack to police shortly after, and said she finally made up her mind to leave him that day.

“The last time I saw Andrew was on March 11, 2025 at the Beverly Hills Hotel,” she wrote. “The last words he said to me before I left the hotel were: “Shut the f–k up, b—h. You will never backtalk me. You are my property.”

“I finally recognized that someone who truly loved me wouldn’t say those things to me or hurt me repeatedly the way he did,” she added. “I think for the first time, I realized the gravity of the situation. This wasn’t a joke or an internet façade. This was the reality of my boyfriend.”

Stern’s lawsuit — filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court — accuses Tate of sexual assault and battery, and seeks a restraining order against him.

“The facts alleged in the lawsuit filed today are extremely disturbing,” Stern’s attorney Tony Buzbee said in a statement.

It comes just a day after news broke that Stern had called Beverly Hills police on Tate – who is currently facing human trafficking charges in Romania over a sex ring he allegedly ran with his brother, Tristan, 36 – and revealed a series of vile texts she claims he sent.

“You need to be hit … you deserve it,” he wrote in one exchange, later telling her “I want to beat the f**k out of you … you will give me a child this year b***h.”

The texts show Stern calling Tate “pookie” and asking him why he insisted on hurting her, and telling him, “I don’t like it.”

“What’s the point in having you if I don’t beat you and impregnate you … you should be thankful,” he allegedly said.

The altercation started as the two were having sex, Stern said, but when Tate started violently choking her, she protested. That’s when she claims Tate — a former pro kickboxer — began punching her in the head until he finished having sex with her.

Stern said she took photos of herself that appeared to show bruising on her cheek soon after the incident.

Two days later, she says she went to a New York City hospital and was diagnosed as “post-concussive,” and only reached out to police after Tate had left the country and gone to Romania for a check-in with authorities over his case there.

“I am an emotional wreck and am constantly looking over my shoulder. I’m not the person I was before,” Stern wrote in her statement. “Coming out about this is really terrifying in all aspects.”

Stern explained that she and Tate first bonded over cryptocurrency last summer, and described him as “my best friend” who she stood by “unwaveringly.”

“He wanted me to have his children and always told me we would be together forever. Andrew told me he loved me every day, and I was very much in love with him,” she said.

Tate has denied Stern’s accusations through his attorney – who questioned the authenticity of the text messages.

“Andrew Tate vehemently rejects this outrageous allegation and will relentlessly pursue legal action against anyone involved in spreading this blatant falsehood,” lawyers for Tate .

“As for the supposed text messages — no verification, no metadata, nothing. In an era where AI can generate entire conversations in seconds, it’s impressive how quickly unverified screenshots become ‘evidence’ when they suit the narrative,” they added.

“The Tates have become the quintessential villains in media fabrication, and while this may create convenient clickbait, it won’t withstand scrutiny in reality — or in a courtroom.”
