No need to wait any longer, “I Will Wait” fans.
After a quick pre-tour trek to promote their new album, “Rushmere,” have officially announced the North American leg of their 2025 tour that will send them to stadiums, arenas, amphitheaters and music festivals all over the U.S. and Canada from June through October.
While on the road, they’ll make not one, not two, but three (!) New York stops.
First, the two-time Grammy winners hit Saratoga Springs’ on Saturday, June 21.
After that, Marcus Mumford and co. drop into Forest Hills’ on Friday, Aug. 8 and Buffalo’s on Thursday, Oct. 16.
At all shows, the lads will be joined by a high-profile special guest or two. Just a few of the most notable names hitting the road with them on select dates include , Michael Kiwanuka, , , and more.
As for what to expect from Mumford and Sons themselves, they’ll likely deliver the hits — think “Little Lion Man,” “I Will Wait,” “The Cave” — and cuts from their new album “Rushmere,” which officially dropped on March 28.
While we can’t predict what goes down at the shows later this year, we did find after a bit of digging on that the new songs that made the set list on their quick jaunt ahead of the record’s release included the album-opener “Malibu,” titular “Rushmere, “Caroline” and “Where It Belongs.”

Under The Big Sky Festival 2025
On top of the tour, Mumford and Sons are also headlining a music festival this year (as noted above).
On July 19, the band will lend their talents to the three-day , which takes place at the Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish, MT.

Mumford and Sons new music
On March 28, Mumford and Sons released their fifth studio album “Rushmere,�which is named after where the band members first met in Wimbledon, U.K.
And, for a record by one of the world’s biggest bands, it’s not long. In fact, the ten-track record is quite lean, clocking in at a surprisingly short 34 minutes and 22 seconds.
This bloat-free offering starts small with the unassuming “Malibu,” which builds into a longing chorus complete with an anthemic piano accompaniment.
From there, Mumford employs his trademark yelp for the upbeat, hard-charging “Caroline.” The switch from inspirational ballad to friendly jam is proof positive that the band still knows what make them so great- emotional epics and singalongs.
They combine those qualities to great effect in the title track “Rushmere.” The jangling three-minute tune is a rollicking good time in step with the group’s biggest hits. It’s intimate, it’s epic, it’s inviting, it’s everything you want a Mumford and Sons song to be complete with an unforgettable refrain —Â?strong>“light me up I’m wasted in the dark/rush me a restless heart to the endâ€?/strong> — that you won’t be able to stop singing in your best Marcus impression.
Other standouts here include the funky, minimalistic, hand-clapping “Truth” (arguably our favorite on the record, for the record), so delicate it might wither away “Where It Belongs” and “Carry On,” which perfectly captures the bittersweet feeling of “closing up shop”
