Jey Uso vs. Gunther officially feels like a WWE main-event feud — even if it won’t close WrestleMania

Jey Uso may not be in the main event of WrestleMania (heck, neither Royal Rumble winner is). He will likely open one of the two nights in Las Vegas or face Gunther for the World Heavyweight championship as the pick‐me‐up match smack dab in the middle of the show at Allegiant Stadium.

It will feel like a main event, however, after the performances Uso (with some help from brother Jimmy) and Gunther gave the past two weeks.

Last week was the easy part, as Gunther left Jimmy a bloody mess in the middle of the ring with Jey helplessly handcuffed to the ropes.

The hard part is making sure the follow-up to such an important moment is perfect, and that’s what Jey and Gunther nailed this week on “Raw” as the challenger has spent weeks trying to find his confidence in the storyline.
