NYC bank robber makes off with $1K after slipping teller a note: cops

A brazen note-passing robber swiped roughly $1,000 from a Lower Manhattan TD Bank during a Monday morning heist, cops said.

The suspect barged into the bank on Chambers Street near Greenwich Street around 9:30 a.m. and quietly passed the note, authorities said. 

He managed to flee the bank on foot with $1,000, according to police.

The NYPD only described the suspect as a man last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt.

No injuries were reported during the stickup, police said.

The exact wording of the note passed to the teller is unclear.
