Three men were killed and four others were injured in an early-morning Queens blaze that forced some residents to jump through windows to escape the flames, police and neighbors said.

The cause of the deadly fire remains under investigation.

A 911 call sent firefighters to 8725 Chevy Chase St. in Jamaica Estates shortly before 1:40 a.m. for the three-alarm blaze.

“I heard popping sounds and when I looked outside, I just saw orange and smoke,” a neighbor who only identified himself as Alex S. said.

“While I was calling 911, there was a man in the window with a flashlight,” he said. “I saw him drop the flashlight and I honestly don’t remember if I saw him jump or not, but I saw him trying to get out through the window.

“Yeah,” he added. “People were jumping out the windows.”

Neighbors described the occupants as “a nice family” that had lived in the two-family home on the quiet street for “a while.”

Dramatic photos of the blaze showed flames shooting out from the roof of the house, with dozens of firefighters on scene.

City fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire,  police said.

The names of the victims have not been released.
