The University of North Carolina and Pablo Torre are now in a war of words regarding the rumored ban of football coach Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, from the school’s practices.
Hours after Torre alleged that the 24-year-old is no longer welcome at Tar Heels practices, UNC’s athletics department released a statement disputing the claim.
“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities. Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University,” Carolina Athletics told The Post in a statement.
Despite UNC’s rebuttal, Torre is standing by what’s been reported on his show.
“The University of North Carolina can choose to describe or change its position on Jordon Hudson’s involvement however it wishes, following the publication of our episode,” in a statement obtained by The Post. “We requested comment and filed dozens of FOIA requests that were not satisfied. And we stand by the specific reporting in our episode, which came from the highest levels of the football program.”
Torre had said, via numerous sources, that Hudson was no longer allowed on the North Carolina football field or inside its football facility.
“We broke the news of an important meeting where UNC higher-ups told the football program that Jordon Hudson can’t be around the facility anymore,” “Many people around the team heard that message very clearly. You can decide who to trust, in terms of how the PR spin goes from here.”
Hudson and Belichick, 73, have been the talk of the offseason as her antics and seemingly controlling nature over the reserved coach have left many puzzled.

“There is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be for not just North Carolina but Bill’s legacy, reputation — everything he has built and worked for over decades,” a Belichick family source told Torre.
Hudson was spotted at a Tar Heel practice in April, with fans questioning why exactly she needed to be on the field alongside Belichick as he coached.
Around the same time, news broke that Belichick had requested UNC staffers to include Hudson in any emails sent to him.
Torre also reported that and “she happened to use that power to be in the [Dunkin’ Super Bowl] commercial as well.”
Torre’s program comes just weeks after Belichick and Hudson stirred more controversy following a disastrous “CBS Sunday Morning” interview when the former college cheerleader punted a question about how the couple met.
It’s been reported they first crossed paths aboard a plane in 2021.
