The are hopi🌊ng to take things to the next level in 2♏025.
Although the team advanced to the playoffs in 2🦋023 and 2024, they lost tough matchups in the D🐠ivisional Round both times.
This time around, C.J. Stroud and Co. are making moves to bolster their chances of advancing to the AFC Championship for the first time in the franchise’s history.
First up, offensive coordinator Bobby Slowick is out. Former Patriots and Rams OC Nick Caley is in, which will allow Stroud to take “control” at the line of scrimmage.
“Taking control and being a little more pre-snap, having tools to put my guys in the best position. That is something that we really didn’t work on these last two years,” Stroud told reporters. “… He is all about me taking full ownership, running the show, and that’s what I want.”
In addition to the personnel shakeup, DeMeco Ryans’ squad traded for Eagles defensive back C.J. Gardner Johnson and Jaguars wideout Christian Kirk. They also signed Braxton Berrios, Justin Watson, Sheldon Rankins, Cam Robinson, Laken Tomlinson and a handful of other reliable vets to shore up the talented roster, which includes Joe Mixon, Nico Collins and Dalton Schultz.
