Danny Hurley, Johnnie Bryant top early list of potential Knicks candidates to replace Tom Thibodeau

The Knicks shockingly fired Tom Thibodeau on Tuesday afternoon, just a few days after the coach guided the franchise to its first conference in 25 years.

Here’s a list of seven candidates who might replace him:

Johnnie Bryant

Served as the associate head coach under Thibodeau for four years and was a favorite among players, particularly Julius Randle and Immanuel Quickley. Moved to the Cavaliers last season under Kenny Atkinson, helping the franchise to the top seed in the East. Bryant has an advocate in the front office in William Wesley.
