Diana was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and immigrated to New York at the age of five. She studied creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College. She also earned a Master's in Comparative Literature at the University of Oxford. She has taught English language and literature in several countries. These include the Czech Republic, Russia, the UK, and a top university in China. She is currently teaching a writing course at Hunter College in NYC. In her free time, you might see her losing balance in a yoga class. You may also find her trying to get something out of her dog's mouth.
